This week, We have been reading ‘Rosie’s Walk’ by Pat Hutchinson. On Monday, we had a walk in our garden over an obstacle course. We had to go around the ‘pond’, under the slide, over the blocks and through the tunnels. Everyone was very good and knew what to do and moved safely. Some children really enjoyed jumping off the platform they built with blocks and the platform was getting bigger every day! Nursery children drew some lovely pictures of Rosie’s walk. Reception children ordered the pictures from the story and retold the story. On Wednesday, we made egg and cress sandwiches - we compared the eggs that were raw and boiled and talked about them. We also learned about halving. We are good at sharing things equally! As you can see, everyone has been busy doing lots of things in our class again this week!
