Yellow class are having a fun and busy week so far! They have written about the signs of Spring. The children knew so much from their walk to the Junior garden last week. It was brilliant to hear how much they had seen- bluebells, daffodils and even frogspawn.

The children have learnt about Alliteration and they had a go at writing some words about animals which included alliteration. They will use these in a poem later on in the week. We had some fabulous ideas including; mysterious meerkat, zig-zag zebra, dancing deer, crazy crocodile, happy hippo, leaping lion, wild walking wolf and so many more. WOW!

We have been learning about fractions covering halves and quarters. After our lesson we went outside and found quarters in the big square on the yard. The children then put themselves into one quarter and recognised that it had 4 equal parts. Well done!
