This week, we have read the story of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ and had activities around it. The giant came and left some magic beans - and we had magic beans on toast. The sunflower seeds we planted last week have started to grow and Reception children took a picture of the shoots with a camera and wrote a diary to record how they are growing. We also learned about coins - we sorted them and made different amount using them. There were some insects outside, including snails, woodlice and flies. Some children made a house for the snails. Others were busy making chocolate and cakes in our mud kitchen. On Friday morning, we had a music session with Miss Thompson. In the afternoon, we performed Little Red Hen story in front of our grown-ups. All in all, it has been a busy week again.
