Nursery chidlren went to Wallsend Park. On arriving, we had milk and fruit, and after that, we were ready to rumble! First of all, we made a picture in the meadow, finding something pointy, something round and something fluffy. Everyone made beautiful pictures and they were all different! Do you like our pictures? Then we walked around the Hall Grounds part of the park. There was a monster with sharp teeth, but it seemed to be sleeping and we enjoyed climbing on it! As we walked on, we found a magic door, which was shut. We then found the key hanging from one of the branches of a tall tree. The second activity was a mini beast hunt. There were lots of slugs. Some of us found centipedes / milipedes, small earwigs, flies and some beetles. We even managed to catch some fish in the pond! Everyone was very excited. We walked on to the big pond where we fed the ducks, Then it was time for lunch! After lunch we enjoyed spending time in the play park. We were blessed with the weather and only had a little shower and a good time was had by everyone. Thank you to all the grown-ups who took part and we hope you enjoyed the trip, too!
