The Castle Keep

On Friday, Purple class visited Newcastle Keep - right in the centre of the city. We had a great day there, which started off with a workshop where we learned all about the history of Newcastle’s castle and about the life of a knight. We had the chance to try on lots of knights’ armour and clothing, as well as trying out some of their weapons! After lunch, we had a fantastic tour of the castle - from the dungeons all the way to the roof. What a lot of steps! As you can see from the photos, we had a great time!
