This week your children have used their imaginations to produce some fantastic ideas and work. They have written letters to our aliens, drawn maps for the aliens to find the parts of their spaceship and instructions on how to rebuild their spaceship.
The children have been using ten frames to add and subtract two single digits as well as learning how to count in 2’s. “It takes a shorter time to get to 100 in 2’s than in 1’s”.
We finished off our solar system which we added into our child initiated space role play area after reading the story of ‘Whatever Next’.
