Summer Term Week 2 - Minibeasts!   (w/c 27th April)

Here is a list of websites that you might find useful.

In Year 1 and 2 we would be learning about the work of the famous artist Claude Monet this week.

Monet was a French painter and a founder of French Impressionist painting.  He was born in 1840.

We have uploaded a few power points on the life of Claude Monet and his artwork.  My favourite artwork is The woman with a parasol.  It is Monet's wife, Camille and their son Jean Monet.  Which painting is your favourite?

You could look at one of Monet's paintings and paint/draw a picture copying his work.  You could then post your artwork in the blog for us all to see.

Enjoy!

Here are some fun maths activities from the NRich site that you may like to try at home.
