  Tiny Turtle, our Year 5 maths mascot!

  Meet the newest member of Year 5- Tiny the turtle, our maths mascot! Tiny can occasionally make mistakes with his maths. Our pupils develop their maths vocabulary and reasoning skills when explaining where he has made errors and show their understanding when correcting his misconceptions. Of course, we always reassure Tiny that we can often learn lots from our mistakes!

• Poetry Week

  This week was poetry week across the Federation and we have thoroughly enjoyed watching our children perform their individual poems and work together to perform as a class.

  We were especially proud of our poetry competition winners who stood up in front of the entire school and recited their poems for us all to enjoy.

  

• Nursery in the Forest

  Nursery had a brilliant time exploring our forest area last week with Forest Adventurers!

  They made a delicious leaf soup, enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows and relaxed on the hammocks. Thank you Mrs Goodwin!
