Well Done to our Friday achievers and Ice Cream winners
We would like to say a wonderful
congratulations to our fantastic teaching assistant Miss Hayes who was nominated for an Apprentice award this afternoon.
Miss Hayes is hardworking, kind, patient and we can't wait to watch her continue to flourish - we are so proud of you!
We had the BEST DAY at the seaside! The sun was shining at Druridge Bay and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We built sandcastles, tunnels, boats and mermaid sculptures. We splashed about in the shallows and jumped about in the water. We played ball games and frisbee on the beach. After lunch, we went up to the play area and had a great time in the park, only stopping for a delicious ice cream!
Today year 2 did some orienteering on our yard. We have been learning about position and direction in our maths lessons. We used the language of direction during our orienteering task! It was so much fun!
We had a super time in the forest looking for the changes in plants and insects in the Summer.
We then went into the shady forest area and used clay and clay tools to create our forest friend on a tree!
We then added twigs and leaves. They all have their own name!
After playing in the forest, we had a lovely cool drink under the tree.
Last Friday's stars of the week and Ice Cream Friday winners!
Well done everyone!
