  Our topic in Geography this half term is ‘China’ where we have been learning all about the location and what life is like there. Today we were able to taste some Chinese food. The food was delicious but using chop sticks to eat it was very tricky!

• Y6 Basketball Tournament

  This week, some of our Y6 children competed at an exciting basketball tournament, held at Thorp Academy. Playing with great determination against some amazing school teams, they were unbeaten in seven matches. The squad were thrilled to be presented with the winners shield and they will now compete in the Gateshead Schools Finals tomorrow. Good luck to them all!
