On the 23rd of May 1972 our Junior school opened its doors for the very first time. Yesterday it was so wonderful to see the whole community gathered to celebrate our 50th birthday. For five decades our school has been a place of enthusiastic teaching and learning. Over the years we continue to be blown away by the support of our community and are grateful to all of our children, parents, carers and staff for making Ryton Federation the school we are so proud of! Happy Birthday Ryton Federation
Our toddler group will resume this week on Tuesdays and Thursdays
What an exciting end to our half term! Our fantastic children won a stunt cycle demonstration from 3sixty bicycle stunt team. This was because we came top in the Big Walk and Pedal competition earlier this year. The children gasped in amazement at the daring stunts and the message from the guys from 3sixty cycles- ‘you can do anything with practice and determination’ was such an inspiration!
