Main Writing Tasks
Persuasive advert - Animal Appeal
The main writing focus this week is to create an advert for an endangered tiger. You will learn facts about this species and follow a series of presentations and activities which will help you think about how adverts are put together, the emotive language that is used and the features that should be included in your advert. There are also links to real advertising campaigns to help you get a sense of this particular persuasive style. We are really looking forward to seeing your adverts so don’t forget to share!
Follow the reading lesson and activities based on ‘The Wolves of Willoughby Chase' below. You will need to practise your reading and listening skills before completing the activities on character impressions and creation of atmosphere and mood setting.
