Chocolate Makers!

The children became Willy Wonka's and have had a wonderful time tasting chocolate, designing, making and tasting their final chocolate creation.

More Forest Fun!

I set the children a challenge on our wet visit to our amazing forest area to make a creature using any natural resources. I supplied the googly eyes as the finishing touches. They made fabulous birds, butterflies, lions and hedgehogs.

Daily Mile

My class have been trying really hard on our daily mile. They have been running, jogging and walking every day as part of our October challenge to raise money for Place2Be and ClicSargent.

Sound Fun

Our class explored sound by hitting a drum that had rice on it, playing a glockenspiel and hitting a ruler. They learnt that vibrations create sound waves.

Year 3JP Masterpieces!

The children worked really hard and carefully to produce their masterpieces. They should be very proud of their achievements.

Building Fairy Houses

As well as having fun in the forest area, Miss Head also set our class a challenge to build a fairy house against a tree. The children made some fabulous houses, using a variety of natural materials.

The Dot

After listening to the story, "The Dot," my class became artists like Vashti and transformed one black dot into a piece of art.

Exploring the Forest Area

Our class had great fun on our first trip to the forest area. They loved the new additions to the area made by Miss Head.

Children's Choice

Year 3JP were given the choice of which class reader they would like me to read. However, this wasn't an easy task as the cover was hidden and they had to choose by listening to the blurb and the story summarised in three words. After voting, the winner was declared as "The Great Chocoplot" written by Chris Callaghan.
