Positive, Respectful and Safe

Mrs Johnson - 1NJ

We made white chocolate snowballs today! We collected the ‘bossy doing’words as we followed the recipe to make them. We are going to write the instructions tomorrow. They were delicious!

In DT this half term, we are looking at levers and sliders. We made a simple slider so the rocket could blast off into space and the car could drive along the road.  We also practised our cutting, folding and sticking skills.

We all dressed up for Children in Need.

Number bonds to 10

We have been finding all the pairs of numbers that total 10. We loved singing about Farmer Pete who lost his sheep! We used numicon today to find all the number bonds to 10.

We had a lovely afternoon in the forest. Before going down, we looked at the art work of Andy Goldsworthy and tried to recreate some of his land art and natural sculptures using sticks, autumn leaves and pine cones.

The children had a great time in the forest area with Mrs Goodwin!

They played on the hammocks and swings and loved the fire, especially the marshmallows!

The children enjoyed listening to the story Leaf Man in the forest area. They made their own leaf man and looked for autumn leaves.

Forest school in the sunshine!
