Last week, we started the unit ‘Lockdown.’ This week, the unit continues with a ‘Wishes’ poem which encourages you to think about the simple pleasures you might be missing such as playing with all your friends in the park or hugging your best friend. You’ll also look closely at another poem and explore the devices of alliteration and personification before writing your own ‘before and after’ lockdown poem.
