Year 4 Writing
Did you take part in the #WRITEUNITE poetry writing competition about Sports Day? There is still time if you’d like to. All the resources are in Year 4 English Week 5. Entry deadline 8th July. Last week, we began the ‘The Impossibly Possible Bookshop’ unit. This week, you will explore and make the contents of a goblin’s suitcase, create a goblin menu, design a goblin recipe and create some goblin trinkets. Then you will have a firm base to create your magical goblin story. I can’t wait to read about the unusual and exciting goblins you have created. Below in 'Grammar and punctuation' are some additional lessons that you might like to explore before you write.

The lessons below will help you understand some of the tasks in your Talk 4 Writing booklet in more depth. Have a go at them before writing your poem and story. There are some practice activities as well.
