Year 5 Writing

Did you take part in the #WRITEUNITE poetry writing competition about Sports Day? There is still time if you’d like to. All the details are in the English resources Week 5. Entry deadline 8^th July. Last week, we started the unit ‘Wonderful Wizards.’ This week, we will be designing our own magical school and creating an advert to persuade people to attend, writing a news summary with quotes and creating a potion poem! You might even be able to create some potions from the ideas suggested (with adult help of course!). There are some additional lessons and activities below to help you write persuasively as well.
