Year 5 had a great first day-we decided and voted on our own class rules to form our class charter- and what excellent rules they are! Next, we read the book 'Bloom' and thought about the people and things that make us bloom and those things that might make us wilt. We then developed our teamwork skills by working together to rescue a hapless snake Fred, who has capsized his boat and lost his life jacket, all without touching the items! Great determination was shown by all- what a good start to the new year!
